Our patient had her breast implant at a clinic in the south, without knowing what silicone and what size were used. Unbeknownst to her that breast implants used must be certified and approved by Thai FDA, she did not realize that follow-ups and recall of implants must be made in case of any complications.
After the first surgery, many problems arose, including bottoming out, pointed nipples, wrinkles and disfigurement of the breasts as results of folded silicone and the incorrect placement of the implants that was too low. The patient experienced severe lack of confidence especially when wearing revealing outfits. She then decided to undergo reconstruction surgery to fix the problems, using That FAD approved implants. The procedure includes:
- General anesthesia
- Incision on the underside of the breasts
- Get rid of all membranes.
- Place new implants in new cavities that are higher. Stich the muscle to tighten the skin around the implants.
- Fine tune the implants’ placement for more natural result. Close the wound.
