In questa procedura, il chirurgo esegue un&#8217;incisione all&#8217;interno della bocca o sotto le ciglia inferiori e posiziona le protesi al silicone sugli zigomi originali. Le ferite vengono quindi cucite utilizzando punti dissolvibili. La procedura richiede normalmente circa una o due ore in anestesia generale.
